*NEW* Bit Circuit Tinker Lab

Our newest outreach lesson supports the newly adopted Washington State Science Learning Standards with hands-on fun. Students first learn about forms of energy, energy transfer and the engineering process, then use littleBits® electronic modules to complete an engineering design challenge based on real-life situations.

  • Ages: Grades 3 and up
  • Cost: $85 per class (additional travel fees may apply)
  • Duration: 45 – 60 minutes

Museum Outreach Lessons

The scientific concepts of SPARK are taught through traveling lessons aligned with Washington State Science Standards. Our trained facilitators bring all of the materials and guide students through 45 minute dynamic, hands-on activities. Titles include Pitch & Sound, Fish and Clips, Circuit Circus, Sensing Sound, Just for the Record, What’s the Buzz About, and LOL. Additional STEM content available.

  • Ages: Grades K-6 (30 student max)
  • Cost: $70 – $85 (additional travel fees may apply)
  • Duration: 45 minutes

Traveling Assembly

We can bring the excitement and intrigue of SPARK to your school or organization with a few key components of the collection. Both modern demonstration equipment and historic artifacts are used to charge and inspire the audience on the topics of static electricity, sound and radio.

  • Ages: Grades K – 6
  • Cost: $400 (additional travel fees may apply)
  • Duration: 45 – 60 minutes
