About SPARK Science & History Education
Schools travel from all over Washington state to spend time in Bellingham’s SPARK Museum. They do this because teachers and parents know that SPARK Museum field trips inspire critical thinking by celebrating the history of scientific method through the study of electricity and the natural world. Sounds cool and exciting, right?
We believe every student should be excited about science; it’s our goal to help students launch into a lifetime of discovery and self-learning. Through dynamic demonstrations, students of all ages can learn basic physical science concepts, often at a crucial point in their development. At SPARK Museum in downtown Bellingham, they discover that science is fun (really!), interesting, and approachable. This is “science that sticks” for students that is presented in a way that inspires everyone to think like a scientist.
Your customized school field trip experience will be carefully curated to accommodate grade level, whether you’re an elementary school from Anacortes, a middle school from Seattle or high school in Lynden or a college near Spokane. We can prepare interactive and educational programs that emphasize specific subjects on request (i.e. magnetism, sound, American history, etc.).
