Robotics at Spark
We have a great introduction to the basics of robotics using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®. This workshop meets for 4 weeks and children work in pairs to construct and program one robot. Each week builds on the previous week so children’s natural curiosity and wonder guide their learning about LEGO® building and computer programming. There is no experience necessary. Children will learn as they go. (The programs conducted by the Spark Museum are not affiliated, sponsored, or endorsed by LEGO® Education or the LEGO® Group.)

The SPARK Lab
Curiosity and creativity fuel our Wednesday workshops where children use the tenets of the Maker philosophy to learn about technology, physics and engineering while creating one-of-a-kind pieces from electronic games to Steampunk sculptures. Examples and project ideas are presented to springboard ideas. This is a great opportunity for kids to work and create with their hands while learning a little physics and how to use tools safely.
